We decided to sail with Viking on the Cities of Light cruise on the recommendation of friends we had talked to about Viking. The only caution I may have is to say that this is not a cruise for children. We had never travelled in Europe before, but we were comfortable the entire time. We selected a veranda suite which was fantastic! Enjoyed sitting on the veranda in the evening watching all the sites along the river. The ports of call we visited were very interesting and enjoyable, and the tours were fantastic with great guides. I could never say enough in praise of the ship staff, we could not ask for better, they were so attentive!! Our tour director was nothing short of super! Food and drink on board was always varied and very well prepared, delicious!! All in all, Viking does a great job of taking care of their customers, and offer a fantastic experience. We enjoyed the time so much, we are going again on the Grand European tour in 2020, can't wait!!
