We sailed the Eastern Caribbean last week and had a fantastic time. This was our 5th cruise on RC and, like the others, this one did not disappoint. The ship is massive, with many things to do. One does not get board on this ship. The cabin was very nice and looked recently refreshed (see below).

FOOD IN PREMIUMS: A

I highly recommend getting the dinner packages. We did the 3 night for $88 and found it to be worth it. The food in Chops, Giovannis and 150 Central Park is definitely superior to the dining room. You can order as much as you want (that's not why we loved these three) and extremely tasty. For example, the osso buco in Giovanni's compared to what I could get in a nice restaurant in Boston. Perfectly cooked!! 150 Central had wonderful tuna tartar and the meals were great. Chops is like a Capital Grill. I had the lamb chops which again compared to fine dining at any restaurant you can find. The service was great too!! By the way, don't miss the Guacamole Class. Royal C. did a VERY POOR job of describing this on the cruise planner. For $30 you got a margarita, three shots of different tequilas, an appetizer, entree and dessert and got to taste great guacamole freshly made with chips. My bother in law and I did this and it was a lot of fun.

Cabin Review

Ocean View with Large Balcony

Cabin 2C

Great cabin, about 200 sq ft. It was typical of RCC ...enough space to store things. We brought extra hangers which turned out to be a great idea. Took the advice of others and also brought magnetic hooks which we used to hang sunglasses, hats, etc...(A GREAT IDEA) Of course, the shower was small but that was to be expected. I liked the extra large balcony which had two chairs and a table but would have liked a chair and a lounger. Let's face it, you don't spend much time in the cabin so as long as it has a balcony we are fine.
