Destination combined with price governed our decision to book this cruise. Coming from New Zealand we also have to factor in airfares.

We had previously cruised on Columbus when she was with P&O Aust as the Pacific Pearl, so we knew what to expect. For the most part the ship is still the same with just a few cosmetic changes noted.

CMV, they were new to us. Prior to the cruise they were hopeless, getting information was like extracting teeth. Once the cruise began, no problems.

Cabin Review

Cabin 1

As noted above, holes in bulkheads left from the removal of the 3rd and 4th bunks is not acceptable. The reast of the cabin was good, and well laid out.

Port Reviews

Lerwick (Shetland Islands)

Excellent tour. Large range of sites and good guide. Please note however, do not use schools busses, adults need more legroom.

Isafjord

Best tour tour we did. Fantastic scenery

Torshavn (Faroe Islands)

Another very good tour with some fantastic scenery. Very good value.
