Cabin was amazing and the layout was the best use of space. The heated bathroom floors and shower were such a bonus. I loved the mirror in the desk and I did my makeup and hair everyday from that spot. What a clever idea that was. The Tv was amazing for a cruise ship and the selection of Tv and movies was excellent. I loved that they tied in the TV shows to the cruise. We enjoyed watching Vikings and also Lilyhammer as it included Norway at the exact time we there :)

We took the optional Viking tour "The life of Vikings". We went to 2 Viking museums. The history museum and Vikingaliv which were fun for me with my Swedish ancestry and love of Viking history

We took the included Viking tour in the morning and Helsinki by Sea optional in the afternoon. We really loved both tours. The included tour was a bus tour with a stop at the Sibelius Park and a quick stop to see the Ice Breaker fleet. We were dropped at the White Helsinki Cathedral for free time of 20-30 minutes. There was a Finnish army display there with tanks and army people. It was a fun morning. The afternoon we did the optional "Helsinki by Sea" and had a very nice boat ride around the Helsinki archipelago which was very scenic and included champagne and allowed us another 1/2 hour at the end to explore Helsinki and shop

This 2 day tour was probably one of the best tours we have been on. We saw so much of St. Petersburg with TJ Travel over the 2 days. Special should out to our sweet and spunky tour guide Sasha. I am sure we saw everything we could over the 2 days and they included lunches for 1/2 the cost of the Viking tours. I would recommend contacting them and arranging your own private tour with others on CC roll call. If we could give a better rating than Excellent we would

We did 2 tours with Viking. We took the Soviet Flashback optional in the morning..nothing like pickles and vodka shots at 10 am :) We really enjoyed this tour, but there were a lot who were taken aback with some the politics. Be warned that this tour is not for everyone. In the afternoon we too the included walking tour. I know a lot of people have raved about the Tallin included tour but this was our least favourite of the whole cruise. Our tour guide was good but tour was boring and she rambled on and on. We just kept leaving the group and then catching up. Tallin is highly over-rated in my opinion. Maybe we were tired from 2 hectic days in St. Petersburg.

We booked a private tour of Gdansk as my husband has Polish roots and really wanted to see as much as possible. We booked with Easy Gdansk tours and had Klaudia the owner as our guide. We were only there from 6 am - 1 pm. Klaudia met us at 7 am and showed us the shipyard and old town of Gdansk. She also took us to the Oliwa Cathedral for the largest organ. We instantly bonded with Klaudia and loved her tour. She arranged a special Polish lunch at 11 am (1 hour before the restaurant opened) We felt so special to given such an amazing meal and were the only ones in the restaurant! She surprised us by going and grabbing a sample of 6 different Polish beers for us to take back to the ship as my husband had expressed interest in buying some. She did this while we ate and brought them back to us as a gift! Where can you get such personalized service? I can't give Klaudia and Easy Gdansk Tours enough credit for making our short time in Gdansk so perfect

We took the included Berlin on your own and had  private guide meet us for 3-4 hour walking tour in Berlin. The train ride was long, but the included overview tour was nice. It was approx. 1.5 hours and we saw a lot. It included a stop at the Brandenburg gate for photos. Don't ask me about our private walking tour! ughhhh what a disaster..It was supposed to be with Brewers Berlin tours but a week out I was told the company was sold and it was Berlin Walking tours...Worst tour of my life. The guide Jonathan was so arrogant and treated us like children. We asked to go back to the Viking meeting point early as we couldn't stand him any longer :(

We really enjoyed the included tour of Copenhagen because the guide was excellent and really gave us a feel for the pride of Denmark as the happiest place on earth. We also took the Viking Canal cruise and enjoyed that as well. Be sure to make time to do the Nyvan on your own if possible as this is such a beautiful location

One of the best Viking tours...Day in the Life of a Viking. We went to Fyrkat and Lindholm Hoje. Fyrkat is a reconstructed Viking farm house and we had such a great guide again. What is it with the Danish guides! Both days amazing! We did a shot of Mead on top of a hill overlooking the countryside. Then we were off to Lindholm Hoje the Viking graveyard with stone markers. This was one of the most amazing places we visited!

Aalborg

We booked direct with Rodne for the Pulpit Rock cruise..they are located very close to where Viking docks and we had a great tour with them and saved money over doing it with Viking. We also grabbed a cab and asked for him to wait while we saw the 3 Swords! massive bronze swords..very great day

We did the Viking Full Day tour Scenic Flam Railway.  It was a long day but so much natural wonder. We took a bus ride up a mountain and then down so many hairpin turns. The bus driver was so good. We took the Flam train and then transferred trains at Myrdal. The buffet lunch was totally unorganized and with so many people we got a bit of claustrophobia and elected to grab a hot dog instead and sit outside in the amazing beauty right next to a lake. We saw so many waterfalls and so much scenic beauty. Norway is such an amazing place

Eidfjord

We took the included Viking tour and again it was a bit of a disappointment. The stops were uninteresting and the bus ride was long and boring. We walked around on our own and had a much better time. We also did the Taste of Norwegian Farm Life optional tour and we enjoyed that very much. It was such fun to go to a real working farm and the farmer host and his family were funny and welcoming. Have the hot chocolate when you go it was the best.

We took a mixture of included and optional excursions.it included Gdansk Poland which was very important to hubby
