Have never visited this part of Europe before, so had no idea what to expect. The cruise covered 5 countries, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Hungary. The ship was excellent as with all of the Viking cruises I have traveled on. Dining room food was very well done and the service was great. The excursions and ports were good choices and I learned a lot on this cruise about an area I had no idea was like. The in-home experience in Croatia was great and our host provided a wealth of information we probably never would have gotten anywhere else. The trip ending in Budapest was the right way to go as it was like a culmination of returning to Europe with a grand city for touring and dining. I would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone who has never traveled in this region. The Danube is a really interesting river.

Cabin Review

French Balcony

Cabin D

Cabin is just the right size, was always clean and comfortable. Showers are interesting as they are a little tight, but workable. The cabin stewards were "on top of their game," and everything was always taken care of.
