This was our first Viking cruise. The travel opportunity to visit key cities and countries impacted by WW2 along with the TV ads and research we did on Viking influenced our decision. The historic opportunity was enhanced by key tours and excursions in the ports of call. The ship gave us the opportunity to experience beautiful scenery and meet "locals" that were friendly and accommodating. Castles dating back 1000+ years were a real experience. Due to the ratio of crew to passengers we were able to develop relationships that were meaningful and lasting.

We have sailed on Ocean cruises many times. Going forward we will take more Viking cruises and are already planning our next trip.

We had a unique opportunity after the trip that was facilitated by Viking. The pillows on our bed were perfect. Upon returning I called Viking Customer Service to find out where they purchased them. While on the phone the representative provided me with a web link in Germany. I then corresponded directly with the company and we now have 4 pillows in route to our home in the US.
