I always look for information here before cruising and have found it very helpful so I want to return the favor and let anyone traveling the Freedom to be assured it is one of my favorites yet! I cruise about 1 a year and have tried many lines but have found for the money carnival gets my business. I loved the 8 days that was perfect. The entertainment was wonderful. The comic on the R rated show ""Capone was my only disappointment, with making all his jokes about the usage of dirty words. Earn the laugh with a real punchline and not just who can say the most offensive words....childish !!!!! The food was awesome for a cruise! I have only gotten this quality food at the restaurants you pay 30.00 cover charge on NCL. The service from Danek, George, and Allen were exceptional. Our cabin steward was also wonderful. No complaints!!! On the excursions we Para sailed in St.Thomas great!, went to paradise [point for lunch and enjoyed this very much. Even though the beaches are awesome in St.Thomas we shopped and enjoyed the other things and everyone on the ship complained about how crowded the beaches were so we were happy with our decisions. Antigua we took the zipline. overpriced for what we got. You weren't allowed cameras and the view was only of the treetops. No view of the ocean at all. we walked to a taxi and ask for a tour of the island and got one for 80.00. there were 3 of us and he gave us a 2 1/2 hour ride in a large van with stops. He was very nice and lots cheaper than the tour booked on the ship. Tortola we went snorkeling on Norman Island and loved it. Wonderful fish and caves. Nassau we went to Atlantis and swam and did the water slides . Great value. They provide lockers and towels. You can shower there and shop, the aquarium is one of the best. We look forward to our next cruise. Highly recommend this one.
