We (mature couple) chose this itinerary based on the pots visited and in this sense, were not disappointed. The ports were all very interesting and the excursions were excellent.

Embarkation at Civitavecchia was the best we have ever experienced in 27 cruises. It was fast, efficient and well organized. Disembarkation was equally smooth.

The ship itself is old and tired and doesn't show signs of recent refurbishment/updating. There was rust on our balcony railing and on the open decks. The physical appearance came no where close to other NCL ships we have travelled on. Decorations in the common areas are Asian themed and seemed dated. Nothing suggested that the ship is based in Europe the majority of the time.

Family Balcony

Cabin B3

Smallish but ok. Bathroom really tiny; not recommended for "large" people who would have real trouble getting into the toilet area and turning around in the shower.
