We enjoyed each stop and anytime spent outdoors enjoying Mother Nature. Truly a breathtaking exsperience.
The majority of the staff were very unhappy. A few smiled but most seemed despondent. We quickly agreed. There were no good meals. It seemed the food had been left sitting out and was tasteless. There was a few exceptions the pretzel rolls and the chocolate lava cake. None of the meat was quite right. The layout of the ship was strange hard to access. Smoking was allowed yet no plugs to recharge a camera or cell phone. There was foul smells the last 48 hours and a yucky substance dripping from the ceiling. They did not provide a naturalist or opportunity’s to learn about the area wildlife glaciers. It was disappointing. I know it not fair to compare them to Disney or Celebrity but it was like being stuck in an 80s tired casino. Might be a fit for some due to pricing but you get what you pay for and we felt robbed. It just wasn’t good. There were a handful of excellent staff and many just going through motions seemed apathetic and sad. Made us sad. The Destination was AMAZING we’ve been many times there and recommend it just go on Celebrity or Disney or Princess.
The cabin was small our room attendant kept it very clean for us. The bathroom layout was nice. The balcony had metal encased all about a privasea what they call which inhibits the view but bloacks the wind.
Fabulous city so much to do and see. The Suspension bridge Stanley Park lots of arts and culture and restaurants.
We have done the train in the past and it’s great very scenic and you learn about gold rush.
Love walking around taking in wildlife.
