Foodies Beware! The food on this cruise is absolutely awful. The buffets were below standard- hard rolls, undercooked bacon, cold food in general. The dining room food was not much better. We did an upgraded dinner at the steakhouse which was very good. But we paid an extra $80 for quality that should have been standard in every location. Straws seemed to be in short supply, we were actually told that they had run out. How do you serve frozen drinks without straws? We had to drink our Frose (which by the way, was the highlight of the cruise) with a spoon. The entire cruise also seemed like a "money grab"- Bingo and other activities were an additional charge. The "broadway quality" shows were a joke. Since this cruise was "all you can drink," it was quite the party boat. I would definitly not take children on this trip. The only good thing about the cruise was the excursions in Havana. They were incredible.
