I had heard wonderful things about Royal Carribean. The ship was truly beautiful but the food was less than par, unless you paid the upcharge to the specialty restaurants. Not what I want to do on my cruise. I can go to a restaurant on land anytime I want. It was rather irritating when I wanted some water or an ice tea, to find that the areas that offered these beverages were usually closed. unless it was breakfast or lunchtime. I did not purchase the beverage package and did not want to pay for a bottle of water. I found myself filling cups of water and ice and bringing them back to my room in case I was unable to find a beverage area open. The main dining was wonderful. The service was exceptional, but the food was fair, unless you wanted to pay the upcharge. I have never been on a crusie that charged you extra for lobster or steak. Again, very annoying.
I loved the adult only pool area, but it would have been nice if the "adult only" policy was actually enforced. A few times there were some children in the areas, and yes they were screaming and running around.
The entertainment was excellent, the cabin was great (would recommend the ocean view balcony, not the inside balcony...hated that). Service was the best I have ever experienced. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and patient. (loved that)
our cabin steward was excellent. We were very well taken care of.
so sad how destitute this island is. The vendors were desperate for your business. Awful condition fo the road made it difficult to even walk around. Should have stayed on the ship.
DId our own thing and surprisingly, it was wonderful. Very much enjoyed El Morro and walking around the shops.
Yuck! water was murky, food was terrible lines to food was very long. Should have stayed on the ship
