We originally booked because we were offered a great deal and were stressed with clean up from Hurricane Harvey. We had never done such a large ship before (3500 passengers) and were concerned about the ship feeling crowded. From the moment we were on the ship until we returned to port, we were able to put our day to day worries aside and truly enjoy a magnificent experience. The ship never felt crowded and our room (a balcony) was very nice with a large flat screen tv on the wall. The weather was sublime: balmy, mild and sunny every day. The staff was excellent and very accommodating; there was a wide variety of things to do, lovely public spaces to relax in and all of the passengers were polite and relaxed. The ports were interesting. We did not book excursions, but walked around the islands on port days and never felt uncomfortable with the local citizens. The food was good and the shows were exceptional. There were a variety of on board fun and educational programs: trivia, several audience participation games, talk on the workings of the ship, a star gazing night, wine class, cooking demonstrations, etc. All of the service staff were professional and outstanding. They were hard workers with a ready smile and greeting each day. I highly recommend this cruise to everyone.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BE

The size of the room was good. We have had a mini suite and were prepared for a smaller room. Never felt cramped in the room. The balcony was nice, but the balcony door seemed to become more difficult to operate toward the last cruise days. We did not mention it to the staff. Bathroom worked well and the storage for clothing was adequate. Loved the flat screen tv on the wall and the variety of shows available to watch.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We came in a day early and walked around the Fort Lauderdale area. It is easy to use the bus system. The day was quite nice for walking around.

Princess Cays

We rented an umbrella covering and the day was pretty.

Grenada

Went walking around the town and looked into the shops.

Curacao

We went to the church and toured it and then walked around the fort that has been converted into shops. Walked to the local market. Lots to see there, people were friendly.

Martinique

Walked around the area but were too late to get into the fort for a tour. Enjoyed the walking.
