Sail Date: Mar 2018
Cabin: Deluxe Veranda 2B

We have been on Solstice three times now and it is looking a little tired. It could do with a refurbishment. Overall, the service and staff were amazing. The food can be a little repetitive and at times boring. There was a lack of activities with most centred around designer jewellery or art auction - these don’t appeal to most. The cabin is spacious and it is great having free on demand movies. Although the TV is getting older and could benefit from being replaced. It would also be nice to have a kettle in your room to make tea or coffee. The entertainment on board was good with something to appeal to all tastes. The Captains Club activities for Select members included wine tasting, gala cocktail event and behind the scenes tour of the theatre. The itinerary was good and we got to snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef. Will definitely sail Celebrity again but look to go on a newer ship
