Well, my employees told me I needed a vacation and my wife's birthday was coming up. So I booked this only about a month out. Found a good deal on a Porthole cabin, and then contacted my travel agent. He was able to save me a couple of bucks on the fare (really, just $2 per person, but cheaper is always better.)

Also this made our Platinum Cruise and also gave us a chance to visit with Mother-In-Law in South Florida both before and after the cruise AND celebrate the wife's birthday on board)

On boarding day, St. Patrick's Day, we arrived at the port about 12:30 and breezed through security and on board in less than 10 minutes after arriving at the port. Lot of people dressed in Green. (our internet groups said to dress in green so we could be recognized by others in the group. Doesn't work when 2500 people are all wearing green because of St. Patrick's Day)

Interior Upper/Lower

Cabin 1A

Good quiet location near front of ship. Only noise was the slapping of waves at night on the way back from Grand Turk. Single bed and Sofa Bed. Good for a couple married 22 years
