Well, my employees told me I needed a vacation and my wife's birthday was coming up. So I booked this only about a month out. Found a good deal on a Porthole cabin, and then contacted my travel agent. He was able to save me a couple of bucks on the fare (really, just $2 per person, but cheaper is always better.)

Also this made our Platinum Cruise and also gave us a chance to visit with Mother-In-Law in South Florida both before and after the cruise AND celebrate the wife's birthday on board)

On boarding day, St. Patrick's Day, we arrived at the port about 12:30 and breezed through security and on board in less than 10 minutes after arriving at the port. Lot of people dressed in Green.
