One of their ships we haven't been on and close to home...been on sister ships. This was I believe our 27th on a Carnival cruise ship. This was our 54th cruise...Food was very good...had lobster twice on a 7 night cruise! Great attentive dining server who ALWAYS addressed us by name..something I think Carnival exceeds expectations! We have been on a 16 night transatlantic cruise, same dining table nightly, and never...did our waiter call us by name or even pull out the dining chair! And...surprisingly, never had lobster once! And it is considered an upscale cruise line!

Carnival has many places to have something to eat without any extra charges. Although, we think their steak houses are the best at sea...Always an enjoyable delicious dinner..well worth the small up charge...Generally it is 2 to 1 1/2 hrs dining experience. Outstanding service, as usual..

I always shutter when people make derogatory remarks about Carnival,,We travel on several different cruise lines...I will say...Carnival's dress code has declined to NCL'S dress code. Too bad...

AT first, cabin was to be made up ONCE daily...something new...we asked for twice daily. We didn't hear the cabin steward mention we had a choice. Only wanted it twice daily was because of possibly wet towels...I can understand why, I have passed some cabins when the doors were open and geez...what a mess! We practically make our bed before leaving!
