We booked the cruise ( Sky Suite ) about 9-10 months before sail date. I checked the price several times & it stayed the same - until we made the final payment & were in the penalty period. They reduced the price $5000 from what we paid - that's not a typo. Amenities were somewhat reduced with the lower price, but not all that much. This was not a last minute sale - it was 2 months before sailing!!!

We emailed Celebrity about this - NO REPLY. Our travel agent tried to contact them - took 5 tries & finally got a $500 shipboard credit added. Whoopdee doo. Still a major ripoff.

Food was not good in Luminae & varied from very good to poor in Blu. Specialty restaurants not as good as they used to be ( this was our 25th Celebrity cruise ). Main dining room was better than all the others . That's absurd. Entertainment, with the exception of one comedian, was poor. Read more
