i chose this cruise so i could see some of southeast asia. however the ports were 1.5 - 2.5 hours away from the city we were suppossed to be visiting. for example for a 4 hour excursion to bangkok you spent 5 hours in a bus. 2.5 hours there & another 2.5 hours back to the ship
the windows in the reflections lounge- site of the captains club nightly free cocktails- were so dirty you couldn't see out of them . same thing in the oceanview cafe. this was not a one cruise thing. we were back to back on this ship & they didn't get better after a port stop. the blinds in the tuscan grill needed dusting
they appear to have sold so many drink packages that serving you a drink in the public lounges or on deck is no longer a priority. you have to go to the bar to get a drink & there you are one of many waving your sea pass card at the bartender. my husband pointed this out to one of the senior officers & she said" oh they will all get served". maybe but certainly not in a timely or even friendly manner.
standard balcony cabin. great cabin steward.
big city. easy to get around
