This was our 2nd Viking cruise and we are planning our 3rd Viking cruise. We wanted to go the Beaches of Normandy and this Viking cruise took us there. We went with friends that was on our previous Viking cruise which was going down the Rhine from Amsterdam to Basil. The service is the best. They have a very well planned itinerary for each day. Each day there was a shore excursion walking tour which was lead by a local guide. The meals were great and the service was exceptional. The waiters were always there for service. Really like that Viking meets you at the airport and gets you to the cruise departure. Even more importantly is Viking takes you back to the airport. This was so much helpful. The Paris airport is like a city in itself. A Viking representative took to all the station we had to go to finally get to the airline checkin counter. Next up planning a Mediterranean cruise.
