Viking provided everything needed for this trip from arranging the air transportation, greeting at the airport, transportation from airport to hotel, bus from hotel to ship, outstanding local tour guides, delicious food, courteous staff & Captain, room service, etc. We are looking forward to book another trip with Viking. The excursions were guided by local historians that really added extra information that only a local resident would know. Each excursion was accompanied by a knowledgeable guide and we had an earpiece to hear everything that was said. Umbrellas were provided by Viking that were red and very easy to identify so not to stray from your group. Bottled water was always available to take on your excursion and we were always met with a warm beverage upon return to the ship. The food was all local flavors and the chef would purchase local food items at each port to prepare for the guests. The menu had so much to choose from including a simple burger to filet or fish. The servers were sensitive to the allergy needs of all guests. I loved the detail that was given to us and would highly recommend Viking.

Explorer Suite

Cabin ES

We had a 2 room suite with a balcony in the living room, TV, mini fridge, sofa, chair and a french balcony and TV in the bedroom. It was lovely to watch the countryside glide by or when we entered a lock. The extra room was lovely with fresh fruit and flowers daily. The bathroom had a heated floor and roomy shower with retractable clothes line. The doors inside the cabin were "pocket doors".
