Joined the ship at Bergen northward bound to Kirkenes. Cabin was small however adequate for our needs. Breakfast and lunch was buffet style with a massive collection of both hot and cold dishes beautifully presented. The evening meal was by way of a fixed menu which focussed on locally produced products. The service was of an extremely high standard. The food was definitely in line with what is on offer with many of the more well known large cruise ships.

The onboard entertainment consisted mainly of informative talks about the villages and fjords. Games, books and puzzles are provided in the cafe on level seven where there are lovely seating areas to sit and watch the world go by. Likewise comfortable seating is provided on level four in the bar area where you are able to sit and view the stunning coastal scenery.

The scenery and weather was dramatic as the ship progressed northwards across the Artic Circle until finally reaching Kirkenes where the stunning setting, snowy landscape and the 2nd sighting of the Aurora Borealis completed the magic. A truly amazing sight never to be forgotten.
