We took 35 relatives on a 7 day cruise in the Bahamas. Overall Carnival is a good value for the money. the staff in general is very polite considerate and helpful - helpful only if it falls within there area of allowable assistance - i.e. the cabin attendant can bring you extra towels.

Worst thing is the wifi is very poor - only works 50% of the time - resets 5 times an hour, and is so slow you can't download a simple web page. I was so dissatisfied I purchased the upgraded wifi package - what a waist it worked no better - i went to customer service to see if there was something i was doing wrong or if there was a way to get it working - i was told we would have to get IT to look into it - i said well go get your IT guy and we can discuss - they don't have an IT guy on the boat - so nothing can be done - nor did they give me a refund for the service not working.

We purchased the alcohol package - they still make you sign for everything - you have to drink a lot to make it worthwhile - in general for 90% of the passengers its overpriced and not worth it.

Grand Suite

Cabin GS

cabin was great - shower had been repaired often and was in good working order, but rework in bathroom leaves major signs of wear and tear - dated and old
