I chose the Epic after learning of the high marks for entertainment. I had recently been on a Carnival cruise in October and the entertainment was nothing to rave about. I planned this trip with 9 other women. Some had been on cruises and some were first timers. We were all over 60. This was the largest ship I have been on and I found it relatively easy to navigate - signs indicating which direction for odd and even room numbers were plentiful. As you exited the elevator there was always a map indicating what was on that floor. The food was excellent! We celebrated a birthday in LaBistro and the waiters were so accommodating and made it a very special evening. The shows were truly awesome. The Epicurean Cirque Dreams was worth the extra charge. If you go on this ship don't miss it. As far as the rooms go, they are very tight quarters. Lots of places to store your stuff but not much room to maneuver - a balcony was a help. I had a concern about the layout of the bathroom but we just pulled the curtain across when one of us was using the shower, etc. The sink is in the main room and there is very little light above it but we managed. Because of the hurricane damage to our original ports we ended up going to Jamaica and Grand Cayman. We hired what turned out to be a great tour guide in Jamaica. We wanted to go to a beach fairly close to the cruise terminal and it was fantastic. Our tour guide (Michael Foster owner of Royal Jamaica Tours) was professional and knowledgeable about his country. He spent the day with us and took us to a wonderful beach which was delightful. Food and drinks served to us on the beach which had maybe a dozen other beach guests. I would highly recommend his company if you want a private tour of this island. We opted to do a Norwegian operated excursion on Grand Cayman. It was a bus ride to the White House beach. I would not recommend this excursion. The beach is very small and the pool was not heated. The pool on the ship which was for adults was very warm but impossible to find a chair to lounge on. I would definitely go on this ship again - food and entertainment were epic!

Cabin BC

Small cabin which makes it nice to have a balcony. Location was excellent. Easy to get to dining and entertainment.
