What a great cruise ship with amazing staff! We have been on 10 cruises with Royal Caribbean and I was most impressed with the staff members on this cruise ship. So friendly and helpful. We had and ocean view family stateroom and it was fabulous. Lots of room for our 3 kids. Our Cabin steward was very friendly and eager to help when we needed it. The food was excellent on the ship of course. Our Waiter and assistant waiter were incredible. They interacted with the kids and were quick getting our food. We never starve when we are with Royal Caribbean. There were lots of activities for our family to do on the ship. My kids loved their time in the Adventure Ocean club! The Ports that we went to were great. We especially love St.Maartens.

All around it was and incredible time and I would be happy to sail on the Jewel of the Seas again.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

We absolutely love St.Maarten's. Even after the hurricane it is still such a beautiful island. The beach was as beautiful as ever. Went shopping here and always enjoy the people.

St. Croix

We went to the beach right off the port. It was nice, but it was very rocky. Definitely needed water shoes to go into the water.

San Juan

We stayed in San Juan the night before and had a nice stay in one of the hotels there.

Martinique

We took the ferry over to the beach. It was a nice small beach.

Barbados

We went to Boatyard beach and it was great. Great spot for the family. You have to pay to get in but we found it well worth the money

St. George's

Beautiful island. We went to the fort which was nice to see. It is very difficult to walk around especially with kids. Not many sidewalks, so you were constantly worried about cars.
