Traveled with children

We decided to book a cruise, and a couple of our adult children and their children joined in. We have cruised on Carnival many times, and always tell everyone what a great time we have, how we enjoy the service, the food and most importantly the fun!

Unfortunately, this cruise disappointed. There were a few major issues:

FTTF - we paid for it, and we did get on the ship smoothly but not quickly, there was some issue with getting people off the ship before we could board. Our bags showed up in the late afternoon, so no benefit there. One of our group didn't get FTTF and they waited hours to get on the ship past their appointed time. The hallways to the staterooms all had signs saying the rooms weren't ready. We went in anyway and our room was ready, but it deterred a lot of the FTTF people from going to their rooms. Disembarkation was smooth, but we self-disembarked.

Cabin 4F

Quiet, away from the stairs and elevators. No loud noise above or below. Fridge didn't work though.

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

We hired a taxi to take all of us on a tour around Cabo. It was the most cost efficient way of moving 9 people at once!

Mazatlan

We took a private excursion to Stone Island. Fun, but poor snorkelling. The ATV's on the beach were a blast!
