The service is the thing that makes this ship stand out. It almost seems as if the crew members compete with each other to make you feel special. The Grandeur is an older ship without the new entertainment available, the staff makes up for the difference in their friendliness and enthusiasm. If you are looking for high adventure thrill seeking activities, this isn't the ship for you. If you are looking for old fashioned customer service where the staff learns your name and what you like, climb aboard !

Dining Room was excellent in both food and service. We travelled with young teenagers and there were plenty of activities for all of us to do. My children are easily pleased. The shows were fun every night. My favorite port was Nassau by far. We went to Blue Lagoon Island and had just the perfect day ! Our room was an inside stateroom and it is small but adequate. We were near a staff hallway and storage room and there was a persistent metallic banging at night. We called and the staff was quick to respond and try to remedy it but I think it was coming from the staff hallway doors and metal stairway. There isn't much they can do to eliminate the noise of staff returning to their own rooms. We learned to live with it but I was happy with their response time and efforts to address our complaint. I would do this cruise again !
