The cruise itself was excellent. We were traveling with some friends that we’d met several years earlier while cruising. The only major issues were not with the cruise itself but with the transport from the hotel to the ship. Celebrity was to have left a welcome letter for us but did not do so,nor did they inform the hotel what time pick up would occur. It took several phone calls to Celebrity before we were informed of a time. Our cabin steward was great and our waiter at dinner excellent. The shows by the singers and dancers were fabulous and the guest entertainers with the exception of a dated impressionist by the name of Jason were outstanding. The captain was extremely personable and made everyone feel welcomed. We planned all but one of our excursions on our own and each group we used provided us with good service. We hiked,snorkeled and spent time at several beaches. I would be more than willing to cruise again on the Celebrity Summit.
