Experience on the ship was overall excellent. The captain was amazing. He could be seen all over the ship. He would walk through the Horizon Court buffet breakfast every morning to greet the passengers and answer questions. He had his staff announce on the loud speaker when there were whales or dolphins near the ship, (this is the first time I have been on a cruise where they did this).

They also had star gazing a couple times at night on the top deck, where they would turn off the lights on the deck, give everyone headphones to listen to a prerecorded lecture and a live talk on the stars. They would point to the constellations with a laser light. What a great thing to do in the middle of the ocean.

We were in a balcony cabin on the 14th floor, pool deck. We were right across from the teen center but not on the side with the teen center door. We never heard any noise from the teen center, it was as if it wasn't even there, which was very nice. Our room did have a door adjoining the room next to us. The adjoining door is not sound proofed so we could hear most words and noises in the other room. Luckily our neighbors where fairly quiet so this did not bother us. The room and balcony were small but comfortable and seemed to be newer than other rooms on the ship. The rooms now have big flat screen TV's and new, very comfortable, pillow top mattresses. This floor has the highest balconies so the view is fantastic and there are no balconies above you looking down on you. I did not notice more ship movement on this floor but being in the back of the ship there is some vibration from the ships engines at times.
