Totally a wonderful cruise!!!!!!!!! Some of our friends declined to go on this cruise because of some of the negative reviews. My husband got to the point of not wanting to hear the latest posts from people about the ship. We've been on several of the Princess ships, Azamara, Seabourn, NCL, Carnival, Celebrity, RCCL, Believe me, our experience on this cruise was over-the-top positive. In every way. We chose to have an obstructed view on Emerald Deck 8, yes, we read the reviews about that deck. It was fine. We were midship, loved the location, and with so much to do, we were not in our stateroom that much. The holiday decorations all over the ship were still up from Christmas, so it was a festive first impression. Embarkation in FLL a BREEZE. Best ever. Disembarkation FLL this morning a BREEZE. Again, best ever. The cruise -- 2 sea days to Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, 2 sea days back. New Year's Eve dinner and party onboard superb. The lobster dinner (lobster 3 ways) was delicious! The house band was incredible! Balloon drop fun! Ok, everything from wonderful staff to delicious food was perfect. The ship itself -- I guess there are people that like to nit-pick, but it was lovely and grand. First time on it for us. We do have to say that ALL THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF GAMES WERE ON THE TV, MOVIES UNDER THE STARS, CASINO, STATEROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was HUGE for us! We watched the Alabama-Clemson game under the stars, blowing wind, misty, but the staff walked around close to midnight with popcorn, then later with cookies. AWESOME! We departed this morning, but the NFL games were also on. We LOVED the cruise, LOVED the ship, LOVED our anytime dining waiters, tables 204,202,201 and 207 in the Michaelangelo Dining room. Our stateroom person Teguh was great. Got to run unpack. We'll be back! By the way, I rated everything 5-star because it was for us!
