This was our 8th cruise with NCL. We just made Gold. Special boarding was always for gold & up. Now that we are gold, they moved the goal to platinum. NCL has cut back on the little things that made it special. No more chocolate on your pillow at night. No invitation to a reception in your room when you arrive. The invite was on the bottom of the daily planner. The crew didn't come around and talk to everyone like they used to. We used to get a pin from the ship in our cabin when we arrived. Just another cut back. NCL spoiled us from the start & we never tried any other cruise line. Now we are looking for a new vacation cruise line. We were disappointed at every turn. The food was not good. There were so few low carb options & not everyday. I can't express the disappointment. We save all year to go on an NCL cruise. It seems that NCL is more interested in rich people than the little guy who really works for it.
