I have sailed with this company on three previous occasions and have enjoyed them all. We booked accommodation in Genoa for three nights before cruise and although the weather was cold and showery we had a great time walking all over the city.
We arrived at the cruise terminal early but everything went smoothly and after waiting on a seat for 30 minutes we were able to board. Our cabin was ready but not our cruise card, but staff at boarding told us to give our cabin number to dining room staff and we would be able too add our drinks to our package.
We then went to the buffet four lunch it was very busy bit this was not a problem as there were staff at the buffet entrance who took you to a seat. Also there was a button on the table to summon a beverage waiter and they were very efficient. The food was hot and there was a good selection. During the whole cruise this was the only dining room we used it was a loot quieter than other ships I had been on also no Queues for food, this was all down to good layout. Also I was please to see when the place was busy it was not below the restaurant managers to help clear tables.
We had an interior cabin in a back passage way it was of a slightly different layout too normal as it was square. It was cleaned daily to a high standard. We had one problem on the first day the floor was flooded as the shower cubicle was leaking. This was reported and fixed very quickly. We also go a phone call to check on a repair.
We took the shuttle organized by the cruise into the centre of Valencia
We went to Mount Gay rum distillery waste of money the went to the beach bar with steak drums and lovely beach
Took a taxi excursion from the port four hours and very good cost 40 Euros each did a tour of the island and stopped at Depaz rum factory there was a lovely walk round the grounds then rum tasting for free.
