Ncl sun review: bottom of the barrel compared to carnival conquest and rc allure.

Embarassed that we took our neighbors to this ship for their first cruise.

Ultimate drink package: be careful on this one as it does not include everthing and last day of cruise in the evening they close everything and you can not get anything to drink including water>(we had caught a chest infection and were in need of some ginger ale-walked the entire ship and phoned guest services and were told everything is closed and could not get a drink anywhere on the ship----very frustrating----so take some drinks to bed with you on the last night if yo w ant anything to wet your whistle!!! Many top shelf liquors are not included and a simple cup of coffee may cost you extra. I was alarmed when they ran out of patron silver, so i opted to have the next patron to which i was told "i did not qualify for this". i went to the front desk and they told me it was not included in my package. i asked perhaps they could give me a list of what was and was not included and was told, there is no list. a little sketchy if you ask me. on royal caribbean we did have to pay extra for starbucks, understandable as they make fancies, but this ship charged our neighbor for a cup of coffee with extra milk-----ridiculous over charging like that. if you want a cup of coffee, make sure you get it at the buffet or as we learned, each time we ordered something we asked "is this covered under my drink package?" .....and at that we still had charges on our bills for drinks we did not order.
