The Disney Dream is such a beautiful ship! Incredibly clean, smooth sailing ship with delicious meals, yummy cocktails, specifically the "drink of the day". Even with misty, rainy weather, it was a wonderful trip! This was my 1st Disney Cruise ~ such a different experence from other cruise ships because of the atmosphere being more family-friendly (no casino's and not a wild crazy party atmosphere). I loved every mea! The wait staff and room steward had great personalities.
The shows were FLAWLESS, BEAUTIFUL and just excellent in EVERY way! I wish I could have seen them more than once!!!
There are so many activities to do on the ship ~ trivia games, Bingo, shows, character interactions.... the stops at Nassau & Castaway Cay were fun for me! Although the weather was misty-rainy and had a little bit windy, the parasailing excursion I had booked was cancelled! It still turned out to be a beautiful day. I had never seen Disney (in any form) at Christmas, and it met my expectations. I can't wait to be able to sail with Disney again.
Very nice cabin! My sister and I shared the room ~ I didn't mind taking the fold-down couch. It was very comfortable, and I was the closest to the verandah! I loved jumping out of bed in the morning to open the curtain and see where we were. I took advantage of that verandah a lot! The cabin steward was so friendly, and although it seemed as we stopped in our room a lot, we never ran into them cleaning the room, etc. But it was great to arrive in the evening to finid the beds turned down (the couch turned into the bed for myself) with a cute creature made from the bedspread and maybe a surprise or two also! LOVED the separate bathrooms (shower & sink in one, and commode & sinik in the other)!
