We have always wanted to see the Rhine and Danube River cities, and shopped a number of cruise co. We could not have been more pleased with our choice of Viking. Their attention to detail in every aspect of the excursion was incredible. Every area of the ship and side excursion vehicles were immaculate . Food and beverages were local and 5 star. Crew was attentive and went out of their way to personally insure your enjoyment. We were so impressed with the diversity of cities/ towns and landscape along the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers. The shore excursions offered, both included and extra, really displayed and explained the local culture and history of the region. Don't miss the "top do Cologne" tour which takes you to the top of the Cologne Cathedral. I am so glad my wife took notes along the way, as there was so much to learn and remember. We are looking to see where we can go next on Viking.
