First we have been on over 50 cruises on about 10 different lines so we have a bit of experience on how it works. We chose Norwegian because of the Cuba itinerary, had not sailed on Norwegian Cruise line since 2003 as we had a bad experience and when we complained we didn't get a satisfactory response, Nothing has changed as far as crew not to happy and food just so-so unless you dine in Specialty Restaurants. We were upset about our water being taken away before we boarded we always bring water on a cruise. It was open bar but the bar tenders are in no hurry to get you a drink and there is no sort of line so you can wait over 15 to get a drink at times. The water cost 18.00 for 6 1 liter bottles of water not wanting to pay for water while everyone else was drinking for free so most of the time we had to wait at the bar for water. We really didn't purchase anything big and made sure our bill was paid in full the last night of the cruise. Two days after we got home a charge on our credit card appeared for 12.98 we had walked off the ship with a zero balanced when we called they said we took 2 bottles of water out of the mini bar - which we didn't merely moved them to the desk to put my medication in the refrigerator. When we called and told this to the representative they sent us a receipt for 2 bottles of water from the mini bar with no signature and told us we were responsible. Really does Norwegian really have to sink this low.

Our cabin was o.k, and the ship is in good condition.

We did a private shore excursion in Cuba and had a wonderful time, and they were unable to tender to their private Island due to the"rough seas" but we could see Royal Caribbean right across from us tending there passengers all morning so we couldn't figure that one out. Read more
