We chose this cruise as it was a birthday celebration for my Mother, Brother and Myself (my husband got to come along for the ride!) My husband and I had been on the Star almost exactly a year earlier and had loved it, so thought this would be a good ship for Mum and Bro's first cruise experience, not too big, and nice and casual, with plenty ports to visit too.

We had stayed in Mestre for 2 nights pre cruise, and did a lot of sightseeing in Venice, so on the day of the cruise we just headed for the port to wait, as we were all eager to start the next part of the holiday.

Embarkation was pretty good, we left our hotel about 10:15, arrived at port and dropped luggage, checked in by 10:45, and in the Bier Garten with a beer by 12:00!

Cabin BB

The cabin was great, the bed was very comfortable, and sofa was not to bad for sitting on. There was plenty room in the bathroom for all your bits and pieces, a toilet and a good sized shower separated by doors from the main sink part. Just steps away from the lifts, but didn't feel disturbed by noise n the corridor.
