I chose Oasis because my daughter had never been on an Oasis class ship. My husband and I have been on the Oasis twice before. We are now Diamond members, so when we got to the port we went straight in and had no wait to get on board. We arrived around 11 a.m. It probably took 10 minutes from drop off at the port until we were on the ship. We went to the windjammer for lunch and it was crowded as usual the first day, but the food was really good. We got to our room right at 1 p.m. The room was clean, but it is starting to show its age. I'm not sure when they will be refurbishing the ship but I think it is time. We only went to the Oasis of Dreams and the ice show. Both shows were very good. We ate in the dining room every night and the food was very good. I know some people state that the food is bad but, I never found a problem with anything that I ordered. Our waitstaff was very nice and efficient. I would recommend this ship to anyone with children, there is plenty for them to do. It is a very large ship so if you have mobility issues, this may not be the ship for you. Overall we had a very good time and we are looking now to see where we may want to go next year with all of my adult children and grand kids.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D4

nice room, 1st night you could hear the wind howling through the balcony door. we called maintenance and they sent someone right away. He did an adjustment on the the door and the howling stopped. We also had trouble with the air conditioning. It was very hot in our room, they also sent someone to look at it quickly. They said the back flushed the lines but it never really got any cooler.
