First time on Celebrity and first time with a drink package (Classic). Learned the hard way that most of the drinks are more than the $9 limit and I needed my card to get a bottle of water. In fact you had to use your card for almost everything and I wore out one card and had to get a second one. Our biggest complaint was the almost total lack of drink wait staff on the ship. Seriously, if you wanted a drink, you better be prepared to go up to the bar and wait in line because that is the only way you are going to get a drink on this ship. I even heard some people suggesting that was why they pushed the drink packages so much and then saved on booze by making it so difficult to get a drink. I don't know, but there was a lot of unhappy people that I met in the bar drink lines. Still, some of the best food and entertainment I have encountered on a cruise and I have to say the Concierge Class was worth every penny. We stuck with the main dining room and the Ocean Café and felt that the food was so good there was no need for the specialty restaurants. Our 9th floor aft facing cabin at the very back of the ship was great for views and no wind. We did not miss one show at all and agreed the entertainment was some of the best we have seen on a Cruise Ship. Cruise staff where very friendly and helpful and service staff in both restaurants were exceptional. We did miss a Promenade deck to walk the full way around the ship and found the half ship jogging track to be too crowded with sun bathers to be much good other than early in the mornings.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 3

Cabin C3

Excellent cabin location at the back of the ship and well maintained. Very good layout and comfortable bed. Our Steward Jose was exceptional and made our stay very enjoyable. Only complaint would be a little lack of storage and lack of reasonably priced laundry. Seriously, $3 for a pair of socks or underwear. Don't even bother opening the mini bar, $3.50 for a can of Coke.
