Always been a bit negative toward the concept of cruising, particularly on larger ships but I really should have done it years ago. Talked to many passengers and crew on the Azura and got the impression it was one of the most loved in the P&O fleet. Embarkation was quick and easy and from there on, it only got better. Dining was amazing, from the many courses fine dining to pool side snacks, the food was faultless, as was the service. Entertainment was excellent from full stage productions to nightclub style singers. We went to Norway and the docking and facilities, plus the excursion options was again excellent. If you wanted to dress up for the Captain's Dinner or dress down and watch a film on the open deck, wrapped in a blanket and eating a snack, it was entirely up to you. The cabin choices and prices seemed very reasonable and the cabin service was impressive. We were so happy with the entire experience, we've booked two more cruises.

Very good being able to walk around the area straight off the ship, particularly the old quarter.

Excursion to Briksdal Glacier - wouldn't have missed it for the world - fabulous

Bergen

Another port where you can walk around in the town or take the funicular up the mountain for fabulous views.
