This was our 23rd cruise. We sailed on this ship last October and had a blast, so we decided to return and got our neighbors who are not RCI cruisers to go. What a mistake. They said they will never sail RCI again. This ranks right up there as one of the worst cruises we have been on. I will never sail LOS again until they change captain as I believe the captain sets the tone for the ship. I was yelled at and cursed at 2 times by a crew member It seemed whenever you asked a question they had to go find 3-4 people before they could find someone that could answer it if they ever could and many times they could not. And the infernal announcements for BINGO. Nothing else is announce why it. Even had one at 10PM at night. Really??? I could not tell you if the cruise director was a male or female as we never saw him or her. We had reservations for anytime dining based on what we say last year. That did not work. We had to wait 10-20 minutes every night and those without reservations walked right in. Food was mediocre. Even though the ship was in dry dock last year it looks worn and need of updating. Talked to several folks who had sailed the LOS before and thy all said service and the experience was going downhill. Will say the service and tastings at the hoof and claw were really nice which helped a lot. We did do the Chef's Table dining experience (6 course meal of items special to the chef's table with wine pairings) which was really nice and they had a special of it combined with Chops Grill for a reduced price. Disembarkation is a nightmare. No organization and no patrolling who is leaving the ship when. Numbered luggage tags are a joke. So in summary we tried to make the best of a bad situation but still expected a lot more than we got.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Typical balcony cabin. Nothing special other than curtains were torn and raggedy. Carpet was dirty. Bathroom was well worn.
