We were in Jamaica

My dad had invited my husband and I to go on this cruise with him and his girlfriend. We went on Sept 18 for 5 nights to Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. Being we had never been on a cruise before we weren't sure what to expect. We had a really nice time. The ship seemed big but while we were on it it didn't seem overly crowded. We were in cabin 8210. The walks were long but it was just what I needed for my knee that needed to heal from an injury. The cabin was cozy. Although there was only one outlet in there I had read the reviews ahead of time so I brought my extension cord with me. I loved the dining room. We were in the gold pearl lower. Our waiters were awesome. Oleg, Daniel and Louis treated us like family and whenever they saw us elsewhere they stopped to say hi and see how we were doing. I think they all deserve a raise. The entertainment was wonderful and even my husband really enjoyed the rock music. It was my first time in a casino. Although I enjoyed it they were not paying out much probably because of the hurricane.my dad's girlfriend was in a w/c and everyone was very helpful especially in the dining room and for embarkation and disembarkation. I really want to go again sometime.

Cabin Review

Cabin Interior

Very cozy and clean and loved the towel animals. It was nice to have a tv in there. My extension cord was a great help as I had a flat iron for my hair and two cell phones to charge.

Port Reviews

Ocho Rios

Way too hot only got off long enough to shop

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Had to get on another boat because the ship couldn't get into port.it wasn't really too bad.
