Itinerary was exactly what was wanted for a Baltic cruise. 3 days in St. Petersburg is a must. The other ports were excellent. One port allowed us the opportunity to meet family we had located and only corresponded with for years.

September sailing was decent weather. Rain for short bursts of time during one or two tours but sunny and pleasant other days.

Tour guides from Oceania and private tours spoke and understood English. The history and life style philosophy of the various countries was explained and discussed by and with the tour guides.

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

Cabin B3

Had a Veranda Room not sure of category. Room space was adequate. Bed was low so could only jam one suitcase under bed. Other suitcase went into closet. The doors didn't slide open completely. Lost space after wedging the suitcase into the far side of closet. Rocks for pillows and bed padding/mattress was lumpy. Rooms were serviced at odd times. Why change the sheets and pillows cases 2x in some days? Had a sofa in room so did not have to sit on bed.

Did Hop on Hop Off Bus Trip.

Met family and visited. Ate at Forto Dvaras. Excellent restaurant with Lithuanian food in the Old Town Market area. Had the cold beet soup--just like Grandma's soup. Also, pork neck bone meat on a skewer. Wish I could replicate the fantastic taste. Appetizers, 7 meals with drinks 75 Euros.

Friends went on Missile site tour and reported they enjoyed it.
