Embarked in Barcelona. All well and organised. Once on board we noticed that we were all seated at different dining tables (we were 3 cabins traveling together with linked reservations). This problem could not be solved until the next day, so, we had dinner in the Buffet restaurant and that went well. Food was fine. Bit crowded - but - with 6000 + passengers it is to be expected.

2nd Night we got our Main Dining room table. The food was terrible. So bad that I left before desert was served. We decided to have the remainder of our meals at the Buffet. This we did for 3 nights and then (got a bit board with the Buffet) decided to give MD a second chance. This time it was really good. (Although the interactive screen showed the same menu as our first disaster. On mentioning this to the "shift leader" about an hour before dinner she insisted that I was wrong. Debate got a bit heated and she showed me the menu - which was different to the one shown on the screen. (All could have been avoided if their IT was sorted)

Cabin was good. Balcony 14173. Kept clean and attendant was friendly, chatty and kept cabin very clean (That earned him a good tip from our 3 cabins) Read more
