We already had a place to stay at Cocoa Beach. We decided since we are that close to the port to check out a cruise. We have been with 2 cruise lines. We definitely will stick with RC unless something changes. I really debated this particular cruise based on the reviews that were so wide ranged, never the less we chose to give it a shot. The following is my opinion only. I am not complaining but giving others a fair review of what to expect. Majesty is the smallest ship so far we have been on. The crew was very friendly, check in was great, getting on and off the ship before and after was no problem. The staterooms are fairly small, and the bathroom extremely small, But for my wife and I its no big deal because we are in there for so little time. Unfortunately the beds were uncomfortable. The room was warm but the small fan we had was a lifesaver. The food was some what disappointing compared to the other RC cruises we have been on. its average both in the main dining room and windjammer. The service was great in all areas. Coco cay was Awesome!!, We did our own snorkeling excursion in Nassau with Blue Hole water sports, it was fantastic. I highly recommend this business. I have now been to Nassau twice and have no desire to go there again. to me its dirty and smells and my least favorite port. The pizza place was good. the Compass deli was all around strange, they were hardly ever open and when they would it was the middle of the night. they served no Panini's or crepes as they advertised. when you could catch them open the sandwich's weren't worth getting. Overall, we were glad we took the cruise and for the money was worth it. I might for the future stick with the larger ships.
