I wanted to see Vienna and Budapest (and the Danube) in a brief amount of time without lots of logistics, packing, unpacking, etc. I also wanted to have historical and cultural information available to me along the way so the trip would mean more. The amount of information, local guides that were available on shore and on board, was superb. The food, of course, was delicious. I loved the surprises, like the tiny glasses of hot chocolate after returning from a shore excursion and the treats in the lounge. The strudel served one afternoon was out of thIs world. The staff is exceptional. They are friendly and genuine but not obtrusive. I loved the public spaces on the ship. The outdoor spaces, like the dining area at the rear the shIp, was fabulous. What a treat to have a delicious lunch outside as the ship travels along. It was amazing the Captain invited us to see inside the navigation area. It was an unexpected highlight. I knew this trip would be fun. I did not expect it to be prefect. Thank you.
