We chose this cruise because it was within our price range and we like the freestyle experience in relation to when and where we choose to dine. Embarkation was easy. Walked in line, did the cattle crawl, and was on the ship within an hour. This ship is laid out exactly like the Getaway and Breakaway which was disappointing since I was already on those ships. Nothing new here except for the Grotto up on the Spice H20 Deck which was overrun with young drinkers just standing in there bunched up drinking. Pool was very small and packed with the same people everyday so we didn't really get a chance to enjoy the area. Same lounge chair hogs even though a projection screen kept scrolling that chairs left unattended for an hour would have their belongings removed to allow use by others. Never saw that happen. What a joke. Ended up on third deck until we found a place to sit. Very small shops on atrium level. Would have liked stores bigger or more variety. Same "sales" night after night. Average food, nothing really outstanding. Did not like The Brat Pack Show, seemed too disjointed, too hard to follow story. After Midnight show was excellent. Never got to see the activities, shows in the atrium because there were just too many people there and not enough seating. The casino area was nice and had some fun at the slots. Our cabin was nice, we got a mini suite on deck 11, mid ship, but the only thing different was the larger bathroom with the 6 water jets in the shower. Very soothing. Our steward was not the greatest and on other ships we had great stewards. This one either didn't leave any coffee or if he did, no creamer. No ice in the bucket, had to keep asking or leaving notes. Ran out of tissues, had to ask for another box. Never got more than one bath towel, hand towel, and wash rag apiece. Never had a bath mat so I used my hand towel to step on. Shelf area never cleaned in bathroom. Didn't dump the trash in the bathroom every day either. More of a annoyance than anything else. Dining service was good at the beginning of the cruise but by midweek, everyone seemed to slow down and weren't as attentive. Because of a tropical storm the prior week, we couldn't go to Tortola so we went to Puerto Rico instead. I was not to excited about that as this would make the third time there. But all in all, we had a good time there. Getting off the ship was a breeze at the end. We carried off our own luggage so our group was called at 8 and we were on our way to the airport for the flight home by 8:30. I don't think we will be doing an NCL cruise in the near future unless they come out with a new ship that is totally different . Will be looking into the Carnival Vista for the Southern Cruise since I am dying to see Curacao and Aruba.

Miami

Went to Bayside for the day. Very nice area, good food court as hotel we stayed in only had one restaurant, overpriced.

St. Thomas

St. Thomas is very beautiful. Walked around town and Havensight. Went to Paradise point on the tram.
