We originally chose this cruise due to scheduling. It was the only one that fit the schedules of 6 different participants, as well as had an itinerary we were looking for. We did book through AAA, which I strongly recommend. Though our travel agent botched a few things, they were easily and painlessly rectified by the ship's staff.

One hint, double-check your airline booking. We wound up on an Embraer 175. Nice plane, but SMALL! We had to take a shuttle bus to and from the aircraft, by crossing the tarmac, rather than using a jetway. Safe-enough, but a weird experience, for the money we were paying.

Night-before embarkation was nice, the hotel was great, and we sampled the local cuisine. That was a mistake, as the restaurant we visited had food that was good, but too spicy for a more delicate stomach, making the easy embarkation a prayer-answered.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Cabin was spacious, clean and well-maintained, and serviced at least twice per day. AC was great, especially with 90 degree temps and 95% humidity. I wish we had better TV reception (I'm a NFL football fan) to watch games, but that is a minor gripe.

The balcony was very nice, and had tremendous views. I do wish there had been a way to keep the glass cleaner, as the salt-air build-up made sitting down to see the views impossible.
