This was my first time cruising, but I went with a friend that had gone before (this was helpful). Embarkation and Disembarkation: Embarking was very easy and quick. The staff was helpful and made the process pleasant. Disembarking was also good, except being selected for random bag screening. This was a timely and unnecessary process. Ship: The Magic offers activities and amenities for everyone. Whether you want to play games all day or relax and lounge, there is something for everyone. It is easy to navigate the ship. Cabin: The room was surprisingly spacious if you take advantage of the storage provided. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was roomier than expected. Entertainment: Entertainment was good, but the activities staff was not well trained and didn't know what they were doing at times. The new ticketing system was also poorly organized, as they do not enforce the lines and people can jump the line and just walk up and get tickets. This needs work. They do offer a variety of activities, which was nice. Service: All but one of our dining room servers was friendly. They made dinner a great experience. Bartenders were nice overall, though a couple made things difficult or confusing. Room Steward was very friendly and helpful, and made for a great week. Ports and Excursions: Very easy process getting on and off boat. Ports were very nice and unique. Excursions were great, but some were not worth the cost (did them all through Carnival). We did St. Maarten on our own, which was great and is something O would do again. Overall, there were some minor hiccups but I would definitely cruise again,

Cabin Review

Cabin 8F 10283
Room was bigger than I thought it would be. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of counter space in room and bathroom. Close proximity to Lido deck/elevators was great and there was no noise issues.
