Sail Date: Aug 2017
Cabin: Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

We sailed on the Harmony of the Seas to try the largest ship. With that being said, I knew to expect more crowds and probably lower caliber food since serving 6000 vs 1500. I learned a lot before we sailed from these boards so wanted to share my observations in case it could help someone else.

Embarkation: We arrived at the port at our time of 11:00. Breeze to check in and be aboard the ship within 10 minutes. Very organized. We immediately entered on Deck 5 and guest services was open and ready to assist. We had bought First Night done Right and my daughter asked if we could book Wonderland for our restaurant. She said yes and booked us for 6:00 first night. Based on some comments from previous posters, I asked if they could swap free wine in cabin for soda package and they said no - that was not allowed. N crowds yet; explored ate and cabin ready before 1 with luggage outside.

Cabins: We had two Central Park Balcony rooms. I have done ocean balcony on past cruises but since having to purchase two, went with this option. We enjoyed this room. It was nice at night to hear Jazz and look out over the pretty Central Park. You will hear music - even with glass door shut- but they never played past 11 or so. I never felt like I couldn't sleep due to noise or wished I had not purchased this category. I rarely saw neighbors out on balcony or felt like I had no privacy. Also liked it was Deck 11 since no clubs or pools above or below. Room was very spacious for cruise cabin. I did not need my Ext cord because plugs in right places. You should bring extra hangers, body wash, shampoo etc. The dispenser in shower was harsh and my daughters cabin stayed empty entire cruise. Note: if I were just paying for one cabin and could afford my ocean view balcony I would book that in the future but I thoroughly enjoyed this option as well. I am glad we picked this over the boardwalk after comparing the two. Cabin attendant was amazing!!
