We took our first cruise last year on the Emerald princess and loved every minute, so decided to go again this year on the crown. We were a little sceptical as some of the reviews weren't very good .

I can honestly say that we had a fabulous time. It's easy to moan and groan about petty things, so I'm not going to! We had two balcony rooms so our teenagers were close by and we were on caribe deck (10) so you get a larger balcony. We had the door opened so the kids were able to join us on our balcony which made it even bigger.

The rooms were spacious and kept clean and stocked up with towels and loo rolls etc. We did have to request robes though, which were brought to our rooms straight away. In comparison to the Emerald, the ship is very similar but ready for a refurb which I think is taking place next year.
