This was our second time cruising with NCL. Our first cruise was on the Spirit many years ago (NY - Cape Canaveral - Nassau - Great Stirrup Cay). We had an amazing time on that cruise and knew if we were to cruise again, it would be with NCL. We live in Connecticut so being able to cruise out of NY without the hassle of having to fly somewhere is also a big plus for us.

On this trip there were 12 of us ranging in age from 20-56. We had 6 cabins that were supposed to be in close proximity to each other, but were not. We were on three different floors which made communicating with each other difficult. We had downloaded the NCL iConcierge app, which was supposed to have messaging, but it didn't work (we were refunded our money).

The ship was beautiful and clean. We had breakfast each day at the buffet and dinners in the main dinning rooms. The food for the most part was delicious. Occasionally the food in the Manhattan Room or Savor was cold when it was supposed to be hot and the cold (ice cream) was warm and melting. We had dinner at one specialty restaurant - Moderno, which we thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend. I do also think that since you are paying such a high price for the cruise, these "specialty" restaurants should be included.

Cabin Review

Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M3

The size of the cabin was great - much bigger than we anticipated. We expected the balcony to be a little bigger than what it was.

Port Reviews

King's Wharf

We did not take an excursion through NCL. We did things on our own. It turned out our second day in Bermuda was a national holiday and everything was supposed to be closed. The shops at King's Wharf were open though.
